La Casa Espresso is a specialty coffee roastery based in Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan, Ireland. By placing an order on lacasaespresso.ie you agree to the terms below. They are written to be read — if anything is unclear, get in touch and we will explain it in plain words.
Orders & accounts
You can order as a guest, with a personal account or with a business (B2B) account. B2B accounts require a valid company name and Irish VAT number, which we verify against the EU VIES register. An order is accepted when we confirm it. In the rare case of an obvious pricing or stock error we may cancel and fully refund the affected order.
Prices & VAT
All prices are shown in euro and exclusive of VAT. Any Irish VAT that applies to your order (including 23% for business accounts) is calculated and shown at checkout before you pay — the total you see is the total you are charged.
Payment
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We accept major debit and credit cards. Your card details never touch our servers, and an order is fulfilled only after the payment has been confirmed.
Delivery
We currently deliver across Ireland only. Delivery costs €10 (net) for orders under 5 kg and is free for orders of 5 kg or more. Delivery details and timing are confirmed with your order confirmation.
Membership & subscriptions
Business accounts can subscribe to a monthly membership at 5% off the regular price, from 5 kg per month.
- Membership runs with a three-month minimum commitment in exchange for the discount.
- Cancelling before the first billing cycle is free of any charge.
- Cancelling during the commitment reverses the discount on the cycles already delivered, and membership pricing is no longer available to that account afterwards — a regular subscription without a discount remains available and can be cancelled at any time.
- You can change your monthly quantity at any time from your account.
Returns & refunds
Roasted coffee is a perishable good, so change-of-mind returns are not available once an order has shipped. If anything arrives damaged, wrong or below the standard you expect, contact us within 7 days and we will replace it or refund you in full. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.
Liability & governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland and any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the Irish courts. Our liability for any order is limited to the amount paid for it, except where the law does not allow such a limit.
